A Netting account and a Hedging account mainly differ in how multiple positions on the same instrument are managed.
Netting Account:
With a Netting account, all trades on the same instrument are combined into one single position. If you place a trade in the opposite direction, it will reduce, close, or reverse your existing position.
By default, all amana app accounts are opened as Netting accounts.
Hedging Account:
With a Hedging account, you can open multiple separate positions on the same instrument, including positions in opposite directions at the same time. Each position can be managed and closed individually.
Example:
If you buy 1 unit of EUR/USD and then sell 0.5 units:
On a Netting account, your position becomes a net Buy 0.5 unit.
On a Hedging account, you will have two separate positions: Buy 1 unit and Sell 0.5units.
If you prefer a Hedging account, you can request an additional MT5 Hedging account or an MT4 account.
